Book Reviews

For someone with as busy of a mind as myself, books are a relief from that constant flow of chaos going on in my head. Once I find a book that really sucks me in, I travel to that far away land brought to life by some brilliant author and just let the story unfold in my mind. The stories replace the chaos, even if just for an hour. Once I find a great book, the kind of book you have dreams about and can’t stop obsessing about once it’s finished, I tell everyone and their mother about the book. I’ve decided I’d like to share my good reads with a broader audience, than just those who I see on a daily basis. I am determined to keep good literature alive, beyond just reading a Facebook news feed or a tabloid about the latest celebrity gossip. I’m not the only one who suffers from chaos over load, and I believe that social media intake doesn’t help to alleviate this issue for most. I believe that if more people, young and old, would pick up a good book and read, thus educating themselves, we would live in a happier, more knowledgeable world.
